Review: Lockdown by Peter May

LockdownLockdown by Peter May

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lockdown, though first written and rejected for publication because of a plot that seemed too far fetched, is now a most timely read. London is on lockdown because of a raging pandemic that keeps killing and killing--eerily similar to the Covid-19 pandemic now raging around the world. Combine that with a mystery of a little girl's murder, and you have a great thriller. This is the first book I've read by Peter May--and not to be the last. His writing style and description drew me into the story from the first. The emotion and the reaction of mankind on the edge. I felt it with every word. I great read.
