My rating: 4 of 5 stars

In light of the coronavirus pandemic, I've been reading my share of influenza and virus-related books as of late. The latest is Influenza: The Hundred Year Hunt to Cure the Deadliest Disease in History. ER doctor, Jeremy Brown, traces the possible history of the influenza virus, its lethality, symptoms--in short, most everything you might want to know about it.

As with previous books I've read on the subject, I found this book interesting. Dr. Brown speaks of science in plain and understandable language. He explains his practical approach to the treatment of influenza, and speaks openly about the various theories concerning the virus. There is a lot more to this book. If the subject interests you, it's a good read.
