Martha's Vineyard is a beautiful place for a mystery. A former Boston police officer, retired and living a peaceful life on Martha's Vineyard, becomes involved in the investigation after a man is killed in the explosion of a boat. I liked the book more for the scenery and the main character than I did for the mystery of the "who done it." This story was an average read for me. I didn't dislike it, but it wasn't exactly spine-tingling either.
